If you’re in the “I love summer but I’m over this heat” stage. Honestly, same.

Between the relentless sun, long days, hot afternoons, and the constant search for “just one more activity” that doesn’t involve a screen or a $400 Costco just to escape the house and get a well priced ice cream… it’s a lot.

So I put together a little Summer Survival List for you. Whether you’re trying to entertain your crew, cool off, or just get out of the house without losing your mind (or your budget).

Here’s what’s on my radar this July!
  • Eastman Park – Free, fun, and perfect for little ones who need to cool off in the stream and run wild at the playground.
  • Jessup Farm Barrel House – Live music on the first Fridays, rotating food trucks, and plenty of space for the fur babies to tag along.
  • Sunflower Farm – Bring a picnic and spend the day seeing animals, buying produce from their farmstand, and letting the littles roam in their play area. They also have live music and food trucks on Wednesday evenings this summer.
  • Movie night at Lake Park in Johnstown – bring chairs, snacks, and bug spray. You’ll thank me.
  • Morning Fresh Farm Tour – Meet the cows, tour the farm, and sample milk and yogurt at the end. Pro tip: Make a day of it and visit Watson’s Lake and grab a cinnamon roll from Vern’s Place while you’re in the area.
  • 🧁 Scoop & Social – I’m hosting a fun little summer celebration on Thursday August 7th from 4:30-7P (stop by when you can) with a free ice cream bar from Boozee Treats and good company. RSVP here! 🍨

And that’s just the start…
