Not Sure When You’ll Buy? Why a Little Prep Goes a Long Way

Table of Contents

The end of August marked a milestone: “one month until baby” for our family.

And I had a moment.

Not because I wasn’t ready… but because the car seat, baby clothes, and newborn gear I needed were buried in the crawlspace.

So naturally, I dove into full nesting mode. I pulled everything out, sorted it, washed it, and lined up baby clothes by size like a woman on a mission.

And it helped.

Not because it solved every problem…
But because it reminded me: being prepared brings peace of mind.

That’s true in real estate, too.

You don’t have to be ready to buy tomorrow to start getting clear on your next steps.

Maybe you’re not sure what price point actually fits your lifestyle.
Maybe you’re wondering how much you’d need to save.
Maybe you just want to know what’s realistic in today’s market.

All of that prep work?
It matters.

Even if the move is 6 or 12 months away, starting now makes the process smoother, less stressful, and way more empowering.

So if you’re in that “we’ll buy eventually” stage…
Let’s build a plan together.

You’ll have clarity, confidence, and a head start on your future home—even if it’s still a ways off.

P.S. I’ll be out on maternity leave in October, but I’ve set up everything behind the scenes with my teammate to make sure buyers are supported every step of the way—from preapproval to closing and beyond. If you want to start planning your purchase, I’m here.
