The weather is toasty, the sun is shining, and I’m ready to get out and celebrate the weekend. Luckily, this weekend lineup is stacked and has something for everyone.
On one hand, I’m on the board for Thompson Education Foundation and their Project Prom event this weekend has my heart. On the other, the Fort Collins Foodie Walk is calling my name because if you know me at all, you know I’m always thinking about my next meal (Savory Spice’s five spice carrot cake?? say less).
And then there’s the Easter egg hunt and photos with the bunny… which feels like a non-negotiable if you’ve got little ones.
So whether you’re planning a family outing, a girls day, or just want an excuse to get out of the house, here’s what’s happening around Northern Colorado this weekend:
Children’s Consignment Sale

Island Grove Regional Park – 4H Building
If you’ve got kids (or one on the way), this is the kind of event you don’t skip. Think gently used kids clothes, toys, and gear at way better prices than retail. A solid way to stock up without overspending.
Project Prom

The Promenade Shops at Centerra (Located between Bath & Body Works and Victoria’s Secret.)
This one is really special. High school students are invited to shop for free prom dresses, making prom more accessible for everyone. It benefits the Thompson Education Foundation, which supports students right here in our community.
Fort Collins Foodie Walk

Downtown Fort Collins
A free, self-guided foodie experience through downtown — yes please. Local shops offer samples, and it’s such a fun way to explore spots you might not normally pop into.
Savory Spice is featuring a five spice carrot cake, which honestly might be reason enough to go.
Comedy Night

Four comedians, real laughs, and zero hangover — because it’s a mocktail bar. If you want a night out that still feels low-key and fun, this is a good one.

This is not your average event — in the best way. Think kitten yoga, celebrity cat meet-and-greets, adoption booths, face painting, and more. If you’re a cat person (or have kids who are), this is basically heaven.
Winter Farmers Market

Foothills Mall
A rotating group of local vendors, live music, and something for the kids too. This weekend, the Bird Conservancy of the Rockies will be leading a hands-on, bird-themed craft — which is such an easy yes if you’re looking for something simple and family-friendly.
Fort Collins BEST Easter Egg Hunt
